During recent travels to Boise, Idaho I noticed this
“handicapped” sign when parking at a local library. "Um, Idaho? This language is
considered outdated and you may want to consider using more respectful words."
The
weird thing is that their DMV website is current in their usage of respectful disability
language so perhaps this sign is just an outlier, a fluke, or simply old and the
library needs some new ones.
